EURO STOXX 50 Index Futures (FESX) Open:2022 Low:1946 High:2056 Close:2047
The EuroStoxx closed at the important 2047 level yesterday. The market had made a new low on the year in early trade down to the 1950 handle before mounting a strong come back. Eventually the market traded to around the 2050 handle, and the close suggests that the market may be set for further gains today. If bullish momentum is to be maintained it is likely that a break of the 2070-77 area will be needed today. Barring this, a move back below 2024 support may undermine yesterday’s move higher.
